History is alive and well
For 16 minutes on Feb. 28, the boundaries of time melted away. In the Valley of Flowers United Church of Christ in Vandenberg Village, a young black man, speaking with eloquence and passion, simply blew away 47 years. The people listening to him could have been in Washington, D. C., on that famous day, Aug. 28, 1963, when Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech.
