Lompoc 7-eleven

A 7-Eleven at 1337 North H St. was robbed early Tuesday, according to Lompoc Police. Officials are seeking leads to locate the suspect.

Lompoc Police are looking for an armed man who allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven and assaulted a clerk at 1337 North H St. just after 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect, reportedly armed with a pistol and a large knife, entered the store and confronted the clerk, police said. The clerk was punched several times in the back by the suspect while being forced onto the floor. The suspect then was able to access the cash register and allegedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash. 

Before fleeing the store, the suspect threatened to shoot the clerk if he tried to get up off the floor, police said. 

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build and dark clothing. The suspect also was wearing a dark-colored bandana across the lower portion of his face and had long, dark hair, according to the store clerk.
