A full closure of northbound Highway 101 at Clark Avenue will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday for bridge repairs, according to Caltrans officials.

The closure is necessary so Caltrans can perform repairs to the bridge girders over the northbound lanes of Highway 101 at Clark Avenue, officials said.

Motorists headed northbound will exit/re-enter Highway 101 via the off- and on-ramps at Clark Avenue. Motorists should also expect to encounter one-way reversing traffic control on Clark Avenue near the bridge.

The contractor for the $1.2 million project is Souza Construction of San Luis Obispo, officials said. The project is expected to be completed in late December, weather permitting.
