The award-winning 2016 documentary film “The Longest Road,” co-directed by Lompoc native Jennifer Salcido, will be shown during a screening event at 1 p.m. Nov. 11, which is Veterans Day, at Lompoc’s Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 500 E. North Ave.

Tickets for the event are $35.

Following the screening, there will be a wine and beer reception, as well as a question-and-answer session with the filmmakers and some of the humanitarians seen in the film, at the Lompoc Veterans Memorial Building, 100 E. Locust Ave. There will also be a silent auction.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward local veteran services and the refugee organization featured in the film, according to organizers.
