Another inmate was reported missing Thursday from the Lompoc Federal Prison Camp, prison officials revealed that evening.

Fabian Lombera, 28, is believed to have walked away from the camp at some point before 4:45 p.m. Thursday, according to a prison spokesperson. Lombera is the second inmate walk-away reported at the prison camp last week, and the third this year.

On March 4, prison officials announced that 29-year-old inmate Mauricio Martinez was also discovered missing.

Lombera was described by prison officials as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds. He was sentenced in the District of Nevada to a 188-month sentence for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Lombera is believed to have last been wearing a white T-shirt and gray sweatpants, according to Lompoc Police, who added that he also has multiple tattoos, including two tear drops under his left eye and writing on his neck. Lompoc Police reported that the Federal Bureau of Prisons does not consider Lombera to be dangerous.

Martinez was described as a Hispanic male with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 240 pounds. He was sentenced in the Central District of California to 180 months for conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

The United States Marshals Service and other law enforcement agencies were notified and internal investigations were initiated for both cases, prison officials reported.

Anyone with information about Lomera or Martinez is encouraged by law enforcement to contact the U.S. Marshals Service at 213-894-2485.
