YFL Super Bowl

The Central Coast Youth Football League Superbowl games will be played this Saturday, Nov. 21 at San Luis Obispo High School.

Two teams from Vandenberg Village and one each from Lompoc, Santa Maria, Orcutt, Guadalupe, Paso Robles and Atascadero will all be playing for a championship.

Here is the schedule.

Bantam Division - 9 a.m.

Vandenberg Village Conqs (10-0) vs.

 Santa Maria Titans (9-1)

Junior Division - 12 noon

Lompoc Pistons (10-0) vs.

Orcutt Outlawz (10-0)

Intermediate Division - 3 p.m.

Guadalupe Bulldogs (7-3) vs.

Paso Bearcats (10-0)

Senior Division - 6 p.m.

Vandenberg Village Conquistadores (10-0) vs. Atascadero Hounds (10-0).

Fabing Bikes 4 Kids

The third annual Brice Fabing Bikes 4 Kids Fundraiser is underway in Lompoc.

New and used bikes and helmets will be donated to local agencies in need, including Domestic Violence, LOVARC and CAC families just in time for Christmas.

The Bikes 4 Kids refurbishing program has already begun. To donate a bike, contact David Eccles at 835-1328. For those who would like to assist in the repairs please call as well.

Gymnastics North

There are a pair of programs coming up in November at Gymnastics North located at 1501-A East Laurel Ave. in Lompoc.

The last “Parent’s Nite Out” will be held this Friday, Nov. 20 fron 6 p.m. to 8:30. Open to ages 4 to 13, the event includes time on the super swing, sling machine, monkey maze and tramp track. The night will also feature pizza.

The cost is $21 for non-members with a $2 sibling discount.

On the Friday after Thanksgiving, Nov. 27, there will be a Turkey Camp.

The program is designed for ages 3 to 13. A half-day fee (9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m.) will be $20. The whole day fee (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) will be $40. A $5 sibling discount is offered. Registration must be made in advance and before Nov. 25.
