Lompoc Adult Softball

Here are scores from games played in the Lompoc fall adult softball leagues from Sunday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Sept. 27.

Sunday, Sept. 23

Coed Oak

TMF 18, Dr. T’s 8

TMF took an early 5-1 lead after one inning, then put it away with seven runs in the fourth. Raul Garcia hit a home run and a single to drive in four runs. Mark Jansen had two singles and three runs batted in while both Kelly Martony and Jodi Crouthers had RBI singles.

Devil Dawgs 9, Just Family 7

Just Family came back late with five runs in the final two innings, but the Dawgs held on for the win. Lukas Carpio knocked in a pair of runs while hitting a double and two singles in the victory. Steven Rowland and Brenda Liss both had an RBI single and Sarah Rowland had a triple and a single.

Knuckleheads 20, Rock Stars 11

The Knuckleheads put the game away with six runs in each the second, third and the fourth. Codie Blea hit a home run, triple and double while driving in four runs. Kolten White hit a home run and a single with two RBIs while Shelby Kuhlman and Megan Maddock both had RBI singles.

Hits & Misses 15, Scared Hitless 13

Hits fell behind 6-0 after the first inning, then scored six unanswered runs in the sixth to earn the win. Rod Denson knocked in four runs with a home run and a single. Chris Henderson had a solo home run among three hits.

Coed Oak

Coalition 12, Unloaded 9

Jeff King and David Daugherty both had a home run and two doubles while both driving in two runs. Nikomi Soza hit a two-run double and Beth Daugherty hit two singles with an RBI.

Beach Bums 13, Whistle Stop 10

The Bums broke a 5-5 tie with three runs in the fourth inning, followed by five in the fifth. Peter Sanchez drove in three runs with a homer and two singles. Steve De St. Jean knocked in two with a home run and one single and Audrey Barrett hit a triple and a single with two RBIs.

Coed Redwood

Odaat 12, Pitches Be Crazy 9

Joe Maher hit a triple and a double to drive in a pair of runs in the win. Christina Chill and Kristina Sanchez both singled in the game.

Balls & Dolls 11, Ohana 5

Balls took a 2-1 lead after two innings and were never caught. Eric Zeno hit a double and a single with two runs batted in and Monica Chill had two singles and one RBI. Tim Towe had three hits, including a double, driving in one run.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

Atlantic

Rockies Roaches 25, Valley POD

In a big offensive outburst, the roaches were led by Mike Bennett who drove in three runs with a home run and two singles and Chris Thomas with a double and two singles to knock in three. Kolten White added a homer, double and two singles with two RBIs and Kyle Darg drove in a pair while hitting four singles.

LPOA 17, Wilco 14

LPOA scored six runs in the seventh inning to gain the win. Darren Greene drove in five runs with a home run, double and three singles. Shelby Kuhlman knocked in four runs with three singles and Chip Arias hit a home run, double and two singles with three RBIs.

Pizza Garden 27, Got the Runz 6

The Garden exploded for 15 runs in the first inning and added 11 in the fifth. Larry Jacinto Jr. drove in seven runs with a triple, double and single. Mitch Williams added a home run, double and two singles to knock in four. Nate Gunty hit a home run and three singles with a pair of RBIs.

Thursday, Sept. 27

Indian

Fear Nothing 15, Devil Dawgs 14

Fear scored three runs in the sixth inning to tie the score and won it with one run in the seventh. Chris Eden hit a home run and a single to drive in two runs. Kyle Bailey and Nate Gunty both hit a double and a single and each knocked in a run.

Fear Nothing 32, SOP 11

Fear won for the second time on the night by starting with 15 runs in the first inning. Chris Eden hit a grand slam home run and a single while Darren Greene drove in four runs with a home run, double and two singles. Chris Thomas hit a home run and a single with two RBIs and Chris Martinez had five hits, including two doubles.

A-Game 18, Spot Ya Seven 7

Leading 8-4, A-Game put the game out of reach with a seven run fifth inning. Codie Blea drove in three runs while hitting a triple and three singles. Nick Davenport hit a home run, a double and a single and knocked in a pair. Joey Hecker Jr. and Mitch Williams both drove in two runs.

Arctic

Better Beds 11, Falcon Heavies 5

Jake Kougl had a big game driving in five runs with a home run, triple and two singles. Tom Segura hit a homer and a triple to knock in three. Josh Hedrick hit a triple and a double with one RBI.

JK Cabinets 21, Legacy 12

After outscoring Legacy 9-7 in the fourth inning, JK put the game out of reach with eight runs in the fifth. Tom Rowe drove in four runs with a home run and two singles while Rodney Barcelona knocked in four with a pair of singles.
