How long have you been in business?
This business has been here for 20 years. I took it over about 2 1⁄2 years ago.
How did you get into this business?
I worked as an employee in the tire business for 23 years. But it's always been a dream of mine to own my own business. Finally I got the opportunity to do that and I went for it. The former owner of this business, George Beeghly, worked with me to make this business my own. I had known George, known as Big George, for about 20 years.
What do you like most about owning your own business?
I like the freedom. I like to be able to control of the quality of work that comes out.
What do you find most challenging about owning this business?
None, I'm having a good time.
What do you do in your spare time?
I like to hang out with the family. Sometimes I hang out with friends. I ride my mountain bike. And I go to Dodger games. I'm a big Dodger fan.
