Pianist Kacey Link, a scholar of Latin American music, will be the featured performer in the Lompoc Music Association's season-opening show, scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Valley of the Flowers United Church of Christ, located at 3346 Constellation Road in Vandenberg Village.
Admission is $20 for adults and $6 for students. Season tickets, which will admit the holder to each of the four concerts throughout the season, will be available for purchase at the door for $55.
Link specializes in the tango music of Argentina. Her Lompoc Music Association performance is expected to include compositions by South American artists Angel Villoldo, Julian Plaza, Lucio Demare, Anibal Troilo, Hector Stamponi, Alberto Ginastera, Horacio Salgan, Carlos Gardel, Julian Graciano, Sonia Possetti and several pieces by Astor Piazzolla.
