The Vandenberg Village Rotary held its third club assembly at Friday morning’s meeting. President Earl Murray Jr. facilitated.
A club assembly is a meeting that all members attend to discuss club programs and activities. Most clubs hold four to six assemblies per year, which allow members to brainstorm ideas for projects and activities, set goals and develop action plans using the Club Leadership Plan.
Eleven of our 14 club members were present.
Service Projects is an area we are looking at to develop some new ones in our community. The goal is looking for ways to make a difference in our community and around the world.
Membership is an area we would like to see additional members join our club. We are always open to having leaders in the community request to visit our club and welcome new members.
Public relations and branding are areas of focus at our club as we continue to use the technological resources available for visibility. We have a Facebook page and our club website at http://www.vvrotary.org/.
