San Luis Obispo County sheriff's deputies are looking for a man who robbed a Nipomo bank this afternoon.
A man entered the Wells Fargo Bank on W. Tefft Street around 2 p.m., presented a note to a teller demanding cash, and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the Sheriff's Department. The robber claimed to have a weapon, but none was seen, deputies said.
The suspect was described as white, approximately 5-foot-8, with a stocky build. He is thought to be in his 20s, and was wearing a black baseball cap, tan or light-brown shirt and blue jeans.
No vehicle has been associated with the robbery.
There was a similar robbery in San Luis Obispo about a hour earlier, but deputies aren't sure if the crimes are related.
FBI personnel are assisting in the investigation.
