The city of Lompoc is set to host a Job and Resource Fair from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Dick DeWees Community and Senior Center, 1120 W. Ocean Ave.

The free event is open to the entire community. It will be preceded by a Pre-Job Fair Workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday at El Camino Community Center, 320 North J St., Suite A-5. Participants in this workshop will have access to a VIP Session of Thursday’s Job Fair from 1:30 to 2 p.m. The VIP Session is also open to veterans. Doors will open for everyone at 2 p.m.

The event is being put on by the Workforce Development Board in partnership with the Workforce Resource Centers, County of Santa Barbara Department of Social Services, County Office of Education, Lompoc Parks and Recreation, Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce, Goodwill Industries, Excel Personnel Services, PathPoint and other local government agencies and private organizations.
