The Lompoc Public Library is offering a bingo game this month in which it is challenging community members to read in a variety of formats and genres, connect with other community members, and discover new experiences and community places.
Bingo cards are available for free at the Lompoc Public Library, 501 E. North Ave., through March 31.
Participants must complete activities in five consecutive squares for a “bingo,” and then are asked to answer a brief, optional survey on the back of the card. The game is for adults, and activities include reading newspapers and books and trying new foods, among other ways to read, connect and discover.
Participants must return the bingo cards to the Lompoc Public Library for a ticket into a prize drawing that will be held April 2. Prizes include three gift certificates to local businesses. Entrants need not be present to win.
The bingo cards are available in English and Spanish.
