Lompoc Youth Basketball

Here are the first results from the Lompoc youth basketball leagues. Games were played from Wednesday, Dec. 2 through Monday, Dec. 7.

Wednesday, Dec. 2

Senior Girls

CYBA McNamee 25, Firefighters 19

Kaitlyn Flowers scored 20 points, including a 3-pointer to lead McNamee. Dannika Harrison led the Firefighters with eight.

Knights of Columbus 18,

Round Table Pizza 14

Mary Jane LaFountain scored seven points to lead the Knights and Amanda Terrones added four. Jennifer Valenzuela scored seven for Round Table.

Saturday, Dec. 5

Senior Girls

CYBA Morrow 28, VAFB Perez 5

Chelsea Kelley had 12 points in the one-sided win, while Raelyn Person and Sophia Stevens each added six.

Junior Boys

Everett 18, Bowman 16 (OT)

Everett scored the only basket in the overtime to earn the win. Bradley Osborne and Benny Garcia both scored six points. Teddy Perry scored six to lead Bowman.

Lizarraga 26, Stewart 16

Lizarraga outscored Stewart 12-4 in the second half to pull away. Matthew Lopez scored eight points with Devin Rodriguez and Matthew Elias each scoring six. Joey Cobb had 10 points for Stewart.

Junior Girls

Coast Hills 20, Perry’s Auto 17

Trailing 8-4 at the half, Coast Hills scored 16 in the second half to earn the victory. Cheyene Marmolejo, Mayah Pico and Brianna Benites all scored six points each. Riley Wagle had six points for Perry’s.

CYBA McCune 32, CYBA Daley 19

McCune led 11-7 at the half and scored 21 points in the second. Jordan Sanders, with 15, and Devan McCune, with 14, led the way. Jayden Dalton scored 11 for Daley.

Little Dribblers Boys

VAFB Hernandez 23, Sushi Teri 17

Andrew Delvecchio led Hernandez with nine points, followed by William Fernandez with seven. Isaiah Cisneros had 13 of the 17 Sushi Teri points.

VAFB White 16, VAFB Williams 5

It was a balanced scoring attack for White as Scott Martin, Andrew Milner and Donte White all scored six points in the win.

O’Cairns Inn 21, VAFB Chacon 19

Kalub Ramirez led the O’Cairns with 10 points, followed by Drew Cordova with seven and Paul Purter with four to complete the scoring. Gabriel Chacon had 11 points in a losing effort.

Little Dribblers Girls

CYBA Heath 12, Pizza Garden 2

Heath led 8-0 at halftime. Elicia Tinoco was the top scorer with six points.

CYBA McCune 17, V&J Rock Transport 14

Brittney McCune scored 13 points to pace her team to the win. Denisse Martinez and Samra Cano both had six points for V&J.

Monday, Dec. 7

Little Dribblers Girls

CYBA McCune 13, Pizza Garden 4

McCune broke a 4-4 halftime lead with a 9-0 second. Britney McCune scored six points followed by Kailani Dial with four.

V&J Rock Transport 18, VAFB Conover 2

Samra Cano scored 10 points in the win and Denisse Martinez added six.
