Fabing Bikes For Kids
After a rainout, the Fabing Bikes For Kids Car Wash has been rescheduled for this Saturday.
The fundraiser for the Third Annual Brice Fabing Memorial Bikes 4 Kids drive will be aided by the Lompoc High girls soccer team.
The car wash and bake sale will be held at Pommerville’s Gas Station at 1001 No. H Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Santa will be making a rare visit to the Central Coast to help raise funds for Brice Fabing's Bikes-4-Kids Program.
While your car gets washed by Santa’s friendly soccer elves, your kids/grandkids/pooches/pets can get a picture with Santa himself. Bring a camera — donations will be taken for the fundraiser.
There will be plenty of homemade baked goodies available at the bake sale as well
All donations go toward buying new bikes and helmets for kids under the care of local non-profits such as Domestic Violence Solutions, Community Action Commission, LOVARC and other agencies in need.
Bring a new bike or helmet to the event and receive a free car wash.
Anyone unable to attend the event can still make donations of bikes, helmets or money through Sunday, Dec. 20.
Contact Dorine Fabing at 735-6350 to arrange a drop off of new bikes/helmets. Donations can also be sent to the Brice Fabing Memorial – Bikes 4 Kids c/o Coast Hills Credit Union, PO Box 200, Lompoc, CA 93438.
