The Aftershock 14U travel ball team won the NSA Pacific Coast World Series championship in Reno last month, and the locals out-scored their opposition by a combined 77-22 in doing so.

Aftershock defeated Ice 10-0 in the championship game in which two Aftershock pitchers combined for a no-hitter.

The tournament took place July 27-29. Aftershock went 8-0.

Aftershock hit 10 home runs in the tournament, including three apiece by Arianna Contreras and Briana Munoz, two by Sierra Preston, and one each by Karley Camacho and Briana Reitmeier.

Team members included Reitmeier, Munoz, Preston, Camacho, Contreras, Armani Garcia, Jacqueline Castaneda, Aryanna Lowery,Juliette Hernandez, Haley Larsh, Bianca Gonzales, Mariah Villalovos, Kendra Hockett, Lily Martinez, Sydney Gills, Cali Grieco and Yesenia Vega.

The head coach was Benny Garcia. Glenn Lowery and Denicia Gills were the assistant coaches.

The team consisted of players from Lompoc, Santa Ynez, Santa Maria, Nipomo, Guadalupe and Orcutt.
